LO2: Be able to scope and plan content for a personal media profile

A product which I created is a storyboard on paper for a short film. The storyboard I created shows a series of different events that happen in each scene of the film, including the shot types, camera movements, and an image of what the main scene will look like. To get this on to my computer it was scanned in and converted into a PDF file, when saved. This document is used to plan the production of my short film to show moderators and teachers the pre-production of my film. This took time and a lot of thought as I wanted to create characters and a storyline that could be relatable to my target audience, allowing viewers to connect with the film, resulting in them being drawn into the narrative of the film. Websites are used to show off work which you have previously done online on a digital platform, which can allow anyone who has access to the internet to view your portfolio and the content that you have wrote about. Website allow you to present videos, images, photos and even written content that can be linked into the job or university for which you are applying. An example of a website where you can do this is LinkedIn, this allows employers to learn about you and your previous life experiences. Advantages: they are digital so can be accessed at any time and any place using a variety of digital devices such as phone, tablets, and computers, making this extremely accessible to businesses. you can easily adapt, so you can change it to suit the job or course you are wanting to do.
